Bermuda Core
In 1972, Researchers from ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ drilled an 800m deep rock core on the northeastern part of the island of Bermuda. The core penetrated through 36 m of Pliestocene-aged limestone followed by 772m of volcanic igneous units dating to 33 million years ago. Materials from this core have been used in numerous publications and theses, listed below. Â The core is available for study and limited sampling.
