Congratulations to our faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends on their recent achievements:

• Dr. Wanda Thomas Bernard (School of Social Work) has been appointed as Special Advisor, Diversity and Inclusiveness for 春雨直播 University for a three-year term.聽 Working alongside Norma Williams - 春雨直播's Executive Director, Diversity and Inclusiveness - Dr. Bernard will advise the university's leadership team and the Human Rights, Equity and Harassment Prevention Office in liaising with faculty, academic leaders and Senate on diversity plans and initiatives.聽 Read more on
• First year Respiratory Therapy student Kristin Clarke was a member of the junior curling team that won the Canadian Championships on January 21, 2016.聽 Kristin was also named as a tournament all-star.聽 Read the to learn more.
• The Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF) recently held it's annual awards banquet, and inducted a number of individuals from the Faculty of Health Professions into their Decade Club to recognize their support and contributions over the last ten years.聽 This year's FHP inductees are:

• Dr. Kathleen MacMillan, Director of the School of Nursing, was invited to join the World Health Innovation Network's academic team at the University of Windsor as adjunct faculty.
